Students and residents work as volunteers at the Republican Center for Infectious Diseases, which is now a COVID-19 hospital. Students Abdulmuthal Musaev, Islam Shahbanov and Abdulkadyr Matsalaev have undergone initial training in practical skills at the university and performing the work of disinfectants. Some of the students and residents of Daggos Medical University also volunteer in the red zone of hospitals treating patients with coronary disease. They are also specially trained to help doctors and nurses draw blood, put in drips, take care of patients.The clinical residents fill in the medical records, put the results of the research on the forms and in the information systems, work with the register of patients with new coronaviruorous infection. They are confident that the knowledge and skills gained from this work will form the basis for their future professional activities.
Kochak Ajiev volunteers as a medical brother in the green area of the Makhachkala City Clinical Hospital, which now treats patients with COVID-19. He and seven of his fellow students at DGMU received specialized training at the Accreditation and Simulation Centre of Dagestan State Medical University. Their main task is to document the admission and management of coronavirus patients.
